BIO

Diana Gil was always attracted by sports, especially watersports, when she was only 11 years old she started bodyboarding with her friends at Praia da Tocha.

A few years later when stand up paddle appeared in Portugal she started immediately practicing the sport, just to enjoy the sea when there was no waves to bodyboard.

Everyday she enjoyed more and more of this sport and she started to follow and photograph the national SUP championship, before she notice she was on a race board competing with the best Portuguese paddlers.

Diana now lives on the south of Portugal, in Albufeira (Algarve), where she spends almost all of her time in the water, giving Surf and SUP lessons, training or just chilling around the beautiful caves and cliffs of the region.
