BIO
Danielle Holdsworth was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. Throughout her youth, she competed in a plethora of sports including swimming, figure skating, and martial arts. In her 20’s she discovered the sport of flatwater sprint kayaking and competed at the Provincial and National levels. She stepped away from paddling in 2007 to focus on building her family and career.
But the water kept calling, and it wouldn’t be long before she returned to watersports. In 2015, Danielle stepped on a SUP for the first time. There was an instant attraction, and from her very first stroke, she wanted to see how fast she could cover distance. Competing in SUP during Canada’s summer months and Olympic Weightlifting throughout the winter, Danielle found a perfect balance of competitive opportunities year-round.
Danielle competes in both sports at an elite international level.
