Jonesy also known as Jonesy, a not only a great waterman, surfer, paddle-boarder, foiler, but an all-round great Dad. He is exactly the kind of brand ambassador every brand wants on their team. Jonesy plays an integral part in the development of NSP boards, the social marketing for NSP Australia, and in supporting the international marketing team with photos, videos and feedback. He’s a great recruiter of local talent and when he’s not helping NSP- he’s teaching his kids how to surf or hanging ten with Hugsly (International Team Canine).

Jonesy provides us, in his own words, with what it means to be a NSP brand ambassador…

“To me, being a team rider means rooting for team NSP just as much as being a part of it. Riding the different boards is amazing, getting your equipment updated every year is wicked too, but being a team rider for me means a lot more.

It’s about what I can give to NSP. I enjoy being involved with the design process, giving feedback on construction and modifications is super important to the future growth of the company which is exciting to be involved with.

It’s about working with the future of the sport, finding the little legends who are excited to land their first board brand sponsor. It’s about working with them, mentoring them about the ins and outs of maintaining a working relationship with the brand. And when they receive their boards that they helped to design, the stoke is real!

Spending time on the water with other team riders, working with NSP International, the dedicated marketing team, the hard-working and travelling reps and the big boss keeping NSP flourishing – it’s all a massively rewarding experience, making you feel like you are a part of a like-minded crew.” ~ Jonesy
