We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our team and help drive the continued global success of the NSP brand.

Role Overview

As NSP’s Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing global marketing strategies to elevate our brand presence. You will lead a small team of graphic designers and collaborate with contractors, athletes, and ambassadors to execute impactful campaigns across digital and traditional platforms. This is a hands-on role requiring strategic planning and a passion for action sports, especially Surfing and SUP.

This role is based in Bangkok, Thailand, with the option for remote work for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to enhance NSP’s global brand visibility and reach, ensuring alignment with our mission and brand DNA.

Digital Marketing:
Plan and manage digital strategies to grow NSP’s online presence, including website, social media, email marketing, and paid advertising campaigns.

Content Creation: Oversee the creation of compelling marketing content, ensuring it reflects NSP’s brand ethos and enhances the consumer experience.

Team Management:
Lead, inspire, and coordinate a small team of in-house designers and external contractors (e.g., web designers, photographers, copywriters).

Athlete & Ambassador Relations:
Build and maintain relationships with NSP’s team riders and ambassadors, coordinating content from their competitions, travels, and training to amplify our brand message.

Event & Campaign Management:
Organize and manage campaigns and events, both online and offline, supporting NSP’s presence in the Surf, SUP, and Foil markets.

Performance Tracking:
Continuously analyze and optimize marketing processes and campaign performance to maximize return on investment (ROI).

Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams (product development, sales) to align marketing activities with broader business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:
Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.

Marketing Expertise:
Proven track record of successfully managing and executing marketing campaigns, especially in digital spaces.

Creative Leadership:
Strong ability to lead creative teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).

Sports Enthusiast:
Passion for watersports (Surf, SUP, Foil), with a deep understanding of the culture and lifestyle.

Digital Savvy:
Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta, social media platforms, email marketing software).

Tech Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Familiarity with WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a bonus but not mandatory.

Flexibility & Adaptability:
Willingness to relocate to Bangkok, Thailand, or ability to work remotely with occasional travel as required.

Role Overview

The Foil Category Manager / Hydrofoil Designer will be responsible for overseeing the development, design, and management of NSP’s foiling product range. This role requires both technical expertise in foil design and a strategic understanding of market trends to position NSP as a leader in the foiling category. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hydrofoil performance, design principles, and the watersports market.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development:
Lead the design and development of NSP’s hydrofoil products, from concept to prototype, ensuring performance, durability, and quality are at the forefront. Work with board and kite wing designers to ensure our overall product offering exceeds customer expectations.

Category Management:
Oversee the foiling category, ensuring product offerings meet market demand and align with NSP’s overall brand strategy.

Market Research & Trends:
Conduct thorough research on foiling market trends, consumer needs, and competitor products to drive innovation and maintain NSP’s competitive edge.

Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including R&D, team riders, marketing, and sales, to ensure the successful launch and promotion of new products.

Testing & Feedback:
Coordinate testing of new foil products with NSP’s team of athletes, ambassadors, and customers to gather feedback and refine designs.

Supplier & Manufacturer Liaison:
Collaborate with external suppliers and manufacturers to ensure product quality and cost-effectiveness.

Brand Positioning:
Help position NSP as a leader in the foil category through product excellence, performance, and innovation.

Sustainability Initiatives:
Ensure that NSP’s foil products meet or exceed environmental sustainability goals by incorporating eco-friendly materials and practices where possible.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of hydrofoil design, including fluid dynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.

Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product design, development, or management in the water sports or outdoor sports industry, preferably with a focus on foiling.

Creativity & Innovation:
Proven ability to create cutting-edge product designs that meet both performance and aesthetic demands.

Project Management:
Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple projects and deadlines.

Collaboration Skills:
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, marketers, and external partners.

Passion for Water Sports:
A deep passion for water sports, particularly foilboarding, with a good understanding of the lifestyle and community.

Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).

Flexibility:
Willingness to travel as needed for product testing, meetings with suppliers, and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

Software Proficiency:
Experience with CAD design tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino) and simulation software.

Industry Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of the foiling market, including trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.

Athlete & Ambassador Engagement:
Experience working with professional athletes or ambassadors to refine product designs and expand market reach.
