Speed Line CSE Design:

A Speed Line has a drive for miles and a loose tail, thanks to a single- to double concave. Available in three sizes, there is an NSP Speed Line CSE for everyone.

This shape design has the added foam of a mid-length but maintains the ability to explore the open face. Single box fin with quad FTU side setup permits adjustable fin configurations for a superior allround board experience. The 6mm stringer doesn’t just look great, it improves the strength and rigidity of your board for a superior ride.

The five-fin box system on the tail section that’s Futures compatible offers plenty of tuning options. Combine a center fin with side bites or go quad on average-to-smaller days. Keep the thruster setup for the bigger days when conditions allow for committed turns.

Shaper’s Union

The Speed Line is a Shaper’s Union creation, a collaboration between NSP and world-class shapers like Tully St. John.

Established to bring new energy and high performance to the surf line-up, Shapers Union is NSP’s way to showcase the incredible skill and talent of some of the most accomplished shapers in the world.

As the owner/Shaper of the legendary Laguna Bay Longboards at Noosa Heads, Australia, Tully and his shaping knowledge are an essential part of the Shaper’s Union DNA.

CSE Construction

Speed Line CSE construction diagram

The Speed Line CSE benefits from a custom surf epoxy lay-up with a clear UV-stable resin and satin rub finish and combined with a CNC-cut EPS core. The epoxy resin, advanced custom layup and EPS core offers a responsive flex pattern. This enhances your connection to the wave without compromising response or feel. And the Speed Line CSE is not just for those lazy, knee-high days; it’s been brought into the NSP Shapers Union lineup, ready to change your longboard sessions when the surf gets serious.

Think of CSE as a lighter, more performance-oriented version of the PU version, with the HDT version being the most durable version of the lineup.

Once the carbon, stringer and layups are put together, these components exceed the sum of their parts, creating a durable high-performance longboard with great flex and a light and responsive feel.
