Additional Information
Who’s the Tinder-D8 CSE for
Another chapter in NSP’s high-performance shortboard line-up, offering accessible shortboard performance by applying key hybrid shape elements. With more volume than the Chopstix, especially in the nose where it counts during paddling, a Tinder-D8 enables you to catch more waves and enjoy yourself at every session. The tail offers balance and speed, thanks to a flatter rocker.
A 5-slot fin cluster allows for fine-tuning and different setups, with FTU-compatible boxes.
Key Features
Shapers Union
Shaper’s Union
The Tinder-D8 is a Shaper’s Union creation, a collaboration between NSP and world-class shapers like Marcie O’Neill.
Established to bring new energy and high-performance to the surf line-up, Shapers Union is NSP’s way to showcase the incredible skill and talent of some of the most accomplished shapers in the world.
Marcie grew up surfing in Australia and has over three decades of shaping and designing surfboards under his belt. Aside from key contributions to our longboards and mid-length shapes, the TInder-D8 is Marcie’s latest addition to the NSP line-up, making him an indispensable member of the Shapers Union.
Construction
Tinder-D8 CSE Dual Band construction
Built with custom surf epoxy lay-up with a clear UV-stable resin and satin rub finish and combined with a CNC-cut EPS core.
The Chopstix CSE is laminated with a full 220g biaxial 4oz deck and 6oz bottom, 4oz patches around the fin boxes, a 6mm wood stringer, a bottom carbon stringer, and a carbon-reinforced tail.
The Chopstix CSE now features an additional carbon stringer on the deck and bottom for additional strength, giving you a durable shortboard with great flex and performance, that feels light and responsive.

Tinder-D8 Testimonials
When asked to just go surf the Tinder-D8 6’4, Mark Zahn set it up as a thruster, and he didn’t like it. He then set it up as a quad for the next day and loves it. He was asked to surf it at least 3 times as a quad before straight-up giving us the good and the bad feedback.
Here’s what Mark had to say…
“I’m loving that board man seriously haven’t felt this good surfing since I was like 40lbs lighter haha” – Mark Zahn, California
